The joint venture between PDM Racing, Inc. (PDM) and RA
takes advantage of the strengths that each contributes to the
endeavor.  PDM has a rich racing history and
RA brings a fresh business and team approach.  PDM and RA
compliment each other and the fusion will lead to a focused
effort in fielding competitive race teams in the IndyCar Series
and Firestone Indy Lights (FIL) series.

The intention is to 1) develop drivers and team members to be
competitive in both series, 2) win races and eventually
championships in both series, 3) provide value to, and extend
the brands of, our sponsors, 4) operate a cost effective and
profitable organization that maximizes dollars invested.

2011 is significant because the IRL is transitioning to a new
engine/chassis package that brings turbo charged cars back to
the series as well as bringing in multiple engine and chassis
manufacturers.  The effect will be to make the series more
competitive by allowing greater latitude in car setups and race
strategy - putting the series back into the hands of team talent
rather than just money.

A major advantage of this joint venture is that sponsor dollars
more directly fund team operations and the cars themselves
rather than exorbitant overhead costs.

Experience of PDM Racing

- PDM has qualified for the Indianapolis 500 eight of the last thirteen years.

- PDM is one of the three current teams that has remained in the Indy
Racing League since it's inception in 1996.

- Over sixty drivers have obtained their IRL competition licenses with PDM.
Notable past PDM drivers include John Paul Jr., Steve Knapp, Jimmy
Kite, Jack Hewitt, Ed Carpenter, Mark Dismore, Eliseo Salazar, Billy Boat,
and three-time Indy Car Champion,  Sam Hornish Jr.

- PDM is well known for being able to compete on less than optimum
budgets (a tribute to the knowledge, ingenuity, and perseverance of
  Paul Diatlovich).

- Paul Diatlovich has been successful with upcoming drivers by emphasizing
the fundamentals of car set-ups and driving to the car.

- Tim Wardrup, the PDM team engineer, has a storied Indy 500 background.
In fact, he was the engineer on the car that Arie Luyendyk drove to an
Indianapolis Motor Speedway record in 1996.

Low overhead

- PDM is garaged in the storied and historic A.J. Watson race shop.
Fully equipped and reflecting the history of the Indianapolis 500
and A.J. Watson's legendary status as one of the sport's most successful
  mechanics and car builders.

- Full and part-time team members that are focused, driven, and ready
to win races and championships in both the IRL and FIL series.  Cross
functionality of team members between series is an added cost advantage.

- The joint venture between PDM and Racing Associates allows the team
to focus entirely on racing, turning the business operations over to
Racing Associates.  This division of duties allows the entire team to
concentrate on core competencies in a cost effective manner.

- PDM currently owns (debt free) significant assets including a fully equipped
transporter, pit equipment, shop equipment, and telemetry technology.
Racing Associates brings computerized fabrication machinery and other
significant tooling assets.  (Sponsorship would  obviously include the
acquisition of additional equipment and technology to handle the size and scope
of racing operations and to maintain a competitive edge for both the Indy
  Cars Series & FIL teams.
